Chromebook is slow "lags" and randomly glitches
First, ensure that you don’t have too many tabs open at once and you have previously shutdown or reboot Chromebook.
Follow these steps below if Chromebook is still lagging:
- Keep the number of open tabs to a minimum, especially if you’re on a
Zoom
session or classes. - If you’re using a school issued
Hotspot
, make sure no other device(s) likeTV
,PlayStation(s)
is connected to it except Chromebooks. - Check for
Chrome OS
updates and install them if any. - Disconnect Chromebook from
WIFI
orHotspot
, shut off Chromebook, reset yourHotspot
, turn on Chromebook again and connect back toHotspot
orWIFI
