How to fix Headphones or Bluetooth device issues on Chromebook
First, ensure sure the Headphone is not damaged and it actually works. Make sure the headphone is fully charged.
On your Chromebook
Follow these steps below if bluetooth device isn’t still connecting to Chromebook:
- Make sure sound isn’t muted:
- At the bottom right, select the time.
- Adjust the volume using the slider.
- Change the sound input or output:
- At the bottom right, select the time.
- Next to the
volume slider

- Change where sound comes from (output) or where you speak into (input).
- Unplug audio devices (like headphones or speakers) from your Chromebook.
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection:
- Disconnect Chromebook from
