Unboxing and setting up your new Windows 10 computer

Stage 1 – Signing in

  1. Press the Power Button to turn on your computer


  2. Select United States as your region, then click the Yes button



  3. Choose your Keyboard layout, US is selected by default. Then press the Yes button to proceed



  4. Click the Skip button for second Keyboard layout

  5. Connect to a network or WIFI, select the HCZ-Mobile Network or your private WIFI
    Then, enter the WIFI password and click Connect. Reach out to a tech for the WIFI password here: help.hcz.org

  6. Select Yes to allow your PC to be discoverable by other PCs on the same network
    PS: Only choose this option for either the HCZ-Mobile network or your private network

  7. Once the HCZ-Mobile network is connected and secured, click the Next button to proceed, your PC will automatically reboot briefly



  8. After the reboot, enter your work email in the Account Sign-in box,
    Then click the Next button


  9. Enter your temporary password in the Account Sign-in box,
    Then click the Next button to proceed


  10. Now, update your password
    Column A: Enter your temporary password into Current password field.
    Column B and C: Type in your preferred new password and then click Sign in

    Note: Your new Azure account password has to be unique, at least 8 characters long, uppercase, number and special characters (e.g @, $, #,%..)

  11. [Setting up your device for work]
    Now, your PC needs to setup for work and may take only a couple of minutes
    Click the Continue anyway button to proceed to the Log-in Screen


  12. On the Log-in Screen, enter your work email and password
    Then press ENTER to log into your PC

Stage 2 – Setting up MFA (Multi Factor Authentication)

  1. At first sign-in, you have to setup an MFA for improved security
    Click the OK button to proceed


  2. Your work email account is selected by default,
    Click the Next button to proceed


  3. [Additional security verification (1)]
    Choose Send me a code by text message,
    Now select United States (+1) for region, enter your work phone, and then click the Next button




  4. [Additional security verification (2)]
    Now verify your identity by typing in the 6-digit code sent to your phone
    Then click the Verify button

  5. Now click Done

  6. [Set up a PIN]
    Enter your work email password in both Column A and Column B
    Then click the OK button to sign in

Stage 3 – Installing apps & Windows 10 updates

  1. Go to the Windows search bar on the taskbar


  2. Type in: Company Portal
    Then press the ENTER key

Tip: Now you can install applications and app updates, by default; Google Chrome, Zoom, Office 365, Sophos are automatically installed. After downloading Windows 10 updates, simply restart your PC for updates to install. Keep a copy of this guide from here. Reach out to a technician for further support help.hcz.org.
