Unable to access "Nearpod" or school-related websites on Chromebook

First, ensure that you’re connected to a reliable and secure network, preferably a private network, home WIFI or school issued Hotspot.

On your Chromebook

Follow these steps below if you can’t still access Nearpod on your Chromebook:

  1. Check to see if Chromebook is still connected to the Hotspot or WIFI.
  2. If you’re using a school issued Hotspot, make sure no other device(s) like TV, PlayStation(s) is connected to it except Chromebook(s).
  3. Check for Chrome OS updates and install them if any.
  4. Clear your browser data and cookies and try accessing the site again.
  5. Disconnect Chromebook from WIFI or Hotspot, shut off Chromebook, reset your Hotspot, turn on Chromebook again and connect back to Hotspot or WIFI. See how to reset a Hotspot.

If you tried the above steps or don’t find this utterly helpful, you can still reset your Chromebook [Chrome OS] and resolve Google Chrome browser issues with a power wash. Make sure the Chromebook is up-to-date before proceeding with the power wash or reach out to a technician for further support. Perform a power wash.
